The Best of Hong Kong

This is where it all began! My love for travel started after visiting Hong Kong. It was my second visited country outside the Philippines (my home country). My first was in Romania and I traveled there for work and it’s a whole different story. 😆

In this video, we featured a lot of places and foods that we’ve tried (and you must try too)! I curated down below restaurants that are worth visiting that were also featured in other famous blogs and travel shows.

Hong Kong is home to a lot of Michelin star restaurants thus renowned as the culinary capital of Asia. Make sure to try local dim sum, dumplings, noodles, peking duck and other local delicacies!

Shopper’s Paradise.

Hong Kong is also known as shopper’s paradise and it offers a unique shopping experience! You can find everything from boutiques to traditional stores, luxury shopping malls, and even score the best deals for electronic goods. In fact, we bought our Sony RX100 Mark V (camera used in the video) and just requested for International warranty instead of Hong Kong-only warranty so we can send it for repair in service centers back home. (This camera model was not yet available in the Philippines back then so we opt to buy during our stay in Hong Kong. We saved around 30% off the actual retail price in the Philippines plus a lot of freebies included)

Breath-Taking Sights!

One word to sum up our first time Hong Kong experience, breath-taking! We were in Hong Kong for a 7D6N stay (well technically just 6 days, the other day we were in Macau) and every day is filled with adventure and exciting new experiences. Check out our Hong Kong photo stories and itinerary to be posted soon, it’s a walk-through of everything we did in Hong Kong.

For the meantime these are the best places and experiences you shouldn’t miss when you visit Hong Kong:
